I'm kind of disappointed they came back because the blog would've been miraculous.

My thoughts after tonight's game: Yakupov is a stud. Schultz is a stud. I liked the way Paajarvi played and he should get more ice time. I think he can really succeed in the Jones-type role Krueger is envisioning for him. Ryan Whitney looks awful. Ryan Smyth looks absolutely atrocious.

If Paarajarvi can be like Jones or Higgins then he'll be as damn near valuable to this team as basically anyone outside of the top line.

Watching this game was like reading Terry Goodkind where he tortures the hero's and readers for 99% of it and right at the end the hero overcomes the impossible odds and all is right in the world.

This was an awesome game! The refs were tough on both teams tonight and we got back that missed call on the goal... This is the best I have seen the oil play in yrs! Sticking up for eachother, hitting - fistric is a (frank)ing beast he played smart in his zone and creamed anyone in his way! Yes Whitney and smyth are slow but for every misplay they had multiple good plays... Schultz just fits right in with the others... He has some good poise and is a competitor! And well Yaks is simply electric!!! They are learning and Krueger seems to know what buttons or personnel to use at the right time... The will be growing pains but as an oiler fan it's hard not to have a dumb grin on your face

Fun game to watch. Horcoffs hands have to be made of cement. There was no goalie interference, but kind of an obvious crosscheck. I loved the bullpoop and refs you suck chants.

People are already talking about this as a game they have never seen before. Just to odd to handle.

I have been pleasantly surpirsed by Magnus. He looks to have regained some of his confidence. He has even been finishing checks... maybe he just needs to pop a few in to get him really going.
